UPCOMING MAGAZINE APPEARANCE & UPDATES
The October issue of Men's Vogue will feature a story/pictorial on Cleveland's own #24. Look for the mag on newsstands beginning September 23rd. We don't yet know who will be on the cover, but know that it is NOT the newly released issue with Eli Manning on the cover. It will be another month before Grady's issue is on sale.
Once I get more time later this week I will be adding way overdue videos from the All-Star Game, as well as some game highlights and articles. But for now enjoy the two new videos below and check out the photo gallery, which has been updated with a few more All-Star parade pics as well as some from the HOF celebration. Look for a good number of new in-game photos to be added later this week as well, as I've received a lot of great photos from forum members, and have taken a few myself, as have my friends.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ALL-STARS - 2008 MLB ALL-STAR SCHEDULE
We here at SizemoreFan.com would like to send out a big congratulations to both Grady Sizemore and Cliff Lee, the Tribe's representatives at the 2008 All-Star Game in New York City. Both players were voted in by their peers, Grady as a reserve, Cliff as a starting pitcher. This is the 3rd All-Star appearance for Grady and the very first for Cliff Lee, who was just named as the starting pitcher for the American League earlier today.
In addition, Grady will be participating in the State Farm Home Run Derby TONIGHT (Monday, 7/14.) The event will air live on ESPN at 8pm ET. All-Star Tuesday coverage begins on FOX at 7pm ET with the All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet.
For a small fee at MLB.com, you can be privy to all of the special All-Star coverage that MLB.com provides including player interviews AND footage of batting practice which begins at 5:30pm ET (AL) on Monday. You can check out everything Home Run Derby HERE and everything All-Star Game HERE.

TV ALERT!!! STO'S "INDIANS 1-ON-1"
Grady (and Franklin Gutierrez) will be featured on episode #6 of Sportstime Ohio's "Indians 1-on-1" on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00pm ET. This show features Indians' commentator Matt Underwood interviewing Indians' personnel. Tune in on Wednesday or catch one of the many repeats that will be shown throughout the coming weeks.

GRADY SAYS HE TALKS TO HIMSELF IN THE OUTFIELD. WELL HERE'S THE PROOF.
Thanks to SportsChic13 on the forums, we learned that the Minnesota Twins' broadcast captured a rather humorous few seconds of Grady during the 4/20 game telecast. If you notice on the right side of this site, there is a quote from Grady where he discusses how he talks to himself sometimes while out in the outfield. Well here's proof:

ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME EXHIBIT
Those who live in or near Cleveland, or will be visiting the city in the near future, will soon be able to experience a rather cool new exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It's called Take Me Out: Baseball Rocks! Running from April 26th to September 28, this exhibit will celebrate the wonderful link between baseball and rock and roll.
An excerpt from the Rock Hall about the exhibit: "A final section will feature a collection of filmed interviews with individual Cleveland Indians players, such as Grady Sizemore and Travis Hafner, who will explain why they chose particular songs to represent them when they are up at bat."

In case you missed it, Juan Pierre of the Dodgers did not play on Opening Day, thus ending his streak of consecutive games played. Pierre had been the active leader in that category, just ahead of our Grady. But now that Pierre is out, Grady is #1. Which we think says a lot about his dedication to taking care of himself, to his dedication to being in the lineup as long as he's healthy so he can do whatever he can to help his team, as well as a nod to the Indians' training staff for helping to keep him healthy all this time. Here's to continued health for Grady and his teammates.
A lot of new pictures have been added to the gallery recently, so remember to keep checking daily for new additions. Soon you will also be able to see our revamped Media page. There will be categories so each piece of audio or video is easier to find.

NEW MAGAZINES, INDIANS BOOK

Also, on March 15th a new book on the Cleveland Indians was released called "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" by Mary Scmitt Boyer with a foreword by Terry Pluto. In our opinion it is a great read for anyone who loves the Cleveland Indians. It is available in bookstores around Ohio as well as Amazon.com at the following link:

BACK FROM THE HAVEN WITH GIFTS
Even though we didn't want to, we were forced to leave the sunshine and warmth of Florida earlier today. When we stepped off the plane in Cleveland we were reminded why we wouldn't let ourselves say it was "cold" in Winter Haven on Saturday when the game-time temperature was in the low 60's.
We were only able to get one good picture for the site, but as soon as we get it off the camera it will be posted.

To "celebrate" the opening of the Grapefruit League season, we have FOUR new videos for you today. Three different segments from one show, and a new interview from 2/27.
The first three are an infomercial that Grady filmed two years ago for the fitness machine, Bio-Force. This has been airing for the past two years, but we were just now able to capture it for you. Keep in mind that this is the entire half hour infomercial and Grady is only in a little bit of it, though he shows up all throughout the show. In no way is SizemoreFan.com endorsing or trying to promote this product, this video is only being presented as entertainment for visitors of this site.

Pitchers and catchers are already working out, position players are starting to arrive and the promise of warmer weather is on the minds of all of us here in Northeast Ohio. SITE UPDATES & SPRING TRAINING
Surely many of you have noticed, there have been a couple of updates to the site. We are continuing to tweak with the look and the layout in an attempt to make the site look a little better and to get some more content to our visitors. We've added the beginnings of a downloads page where you can find icons for LJ/message boards/blogs as well as a wallpaper for your desktop. There will be more to come as they are made.
If you've made any icons and/or wallpapers and would like to share them with us and with other fans, we'd be happy to include them on the site. Just submit them to Michelle.
In the past few weeks we've added a large number of photos to our gallery as we have photographic coverage of all three Press Tour events that Grady attended. There is also a short video from the Canton event on the Media page. You'll find it in the Miscellaneous Videos section. One other video has been added to the Media page, it's an interview that was featured on the Tribe Report during the 06/07 off season that features a look at Grady at home in Arizona. That is also in the Miscellaneous Videos section.
The countdown to Spring Training '08 continues and we are down to less than THREE days until pitchers and catchers report. Position players report on 2/19. So baseball season is almost upon us once again! (If you're anything like us these 4.5 months have been far too long.) Once camp starts we will be sure to get loads of new interviews, photos and stories. As soon as we here at SizemoreFan find anything new we will add it to the site as soon as we possibly can. If you have found something that you don't see included on the site, drop us a line.

CANTON PRESS TOUR STOP COVERAGE
The press tour event in Canton ended at 1:15pm today, we were in attendance at the press conference and the program. Pictures, videos are forthcoming. If you have any pictures that you took at the event, or any of the other press events, and would like them to be included in our gallery, feel free to send them to US.
UPDATES: Stories about this event can be found at the following locations: the Massillon Independent, the Canton Repository, and Indians.com. There is also a link to a photo gallery on the Repository's page.
Also, over 60 pictures from the event, courtesy of photographer Kevin Whitlock of the Massillon Independent (plus two low quality cell phone pictures taken by us at the press conference) can now be found in our photo Gallery HERE. These have all been tagged as they are not to be posted anywhere else. Permission was given to only us by the Inde.

Thank you for visiting SizemoreFan.com, it is truly appreciated. :) I'm sure we're all eagerly awaiting the 2008 season, and all the baseball (and updates!) that come with it.
For now, if you are looking for a great holiday gift for any Tribe fans close to you, or if you need an idea for you to tell someone else, we'd like to suggest the 2007 Cleveland Indians highlight DVD "It's Tribe Time Now." It's a great buy for big Tribe fans and would make a great gift. You can purchase this DVD at any of the Indians Team Shops. There are a few very short interview clips with Grady, but mostly a lot of really great footage of our 2007 Tribe.
If you have the DVD, a note to make sure to look out for the "extra" footage on the DVD following the "Fun At Jacobs Field" chapter. It's not on the DVD Menu (not obvious at least), but if you go to Chapter 6 and keep hitting the "Next Chapter" button you'll get some extra nuggets. Or just click on the gray badge on the menu if you can, that will take you to the content as well.
Also, keep checking the Gallery perodically this off-season, as we're always looking for new pictures to add. If you have any pictures you'd like to see added to the Gallery, just e-mail them HERE.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2007 AMERICAN LEAGUE GOLD GLOVE WINNER!
We here at SizemoreFan would like to offer our sincere congratulations to Grady for being named one of the 2007 Gold Glove recipients for the American League. Grady was one of 9 AL players to receive this honor, along with Ichiro Suzuki and Adrian Beltre of the Mariners, Torii Hunter and Johan Santana of the Twins, Kevin Youkilis of the Red Sox, Placido Polanco and Ivan Rodriguez of the Tigers, and Orlando Cabrera of the Angels.
We couldn't be any more proud of our center fielder. Congrats, Grady! May it be the first of many awards to follow!

SPECIAL FEATURE FROM "MAJOR LEAGUE: WILD THING EDITION" DVD
There is a quite fun little special feature on the Wild Thing edition of the DVD of the film "Major League." A few members of the Tribe past and present, including Grady, give their thoughts on the sports classic in a 15-minute feature. RECENT DOWNTIME, UPCOMING UPDATES & OTHER ISSUES
As I'm sure some of you noticed, our site had a little over a week of downtime recently. This was due to issues my hosting reseller was having with the company that was hosting *their* site. The main hosting site (NOT the site that hosted this site, but the host of our host) was not providing satisfactory support with the server issues, so we decided to change hosts. The only problem there is that we were not able to backup the databases for our forum and our photo gallery.
As a result, we had to start from scratch with both of those. The photos in the gallery are all uploaded again (as well as a number of new photos), though all of the view numbers were reset. This is unfortunated because we were up to over 60,000 views. The forum is back up, but everyone will have to re-register and regrettably all previous posts were lost.
We've also added a few new (old) articles to the articles page. A few from 2000-2001 and a couple from 2005. They are great reads so be sure to check those out. We'd like to thank everyone who has visited/has been visiting our site and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience or frustration the recent downtime may have caused any of you.
