GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Grady Sizemore isn't going anywhere, after all.

Sizemore informed the Indians on Friday morning that he has decided to pull out of his commitment to represent the United States in the World Baseball Classic because of soreness in his left groin.

The snow is finally melting (for now,) the temperatures are above the teens (knocks on wood) and the 2009 Cactus and Grapefruit League seasons have officially begun. Well... technially not until the games begin but (for most of the clubs at least) the past two days have signalled the arrival of pitchers and catchers to their respective camps. Pictures and articles are starting to file in, and as always, we here at SizemoreFan will bring them to you.right here on the news page.

Grady is on the Provisional roster for the US in the 2009 World Baseball Classic, and we're guessing it's almost certain that he'll be on the final roster (released on 2/24.)

The first round for the US will be held from March 7th to the 12th at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Playing along with the US in this Pool are Canada, Venezuela and Italy. Tickets are on sale now, so if you want to check out some great baseball in March and don't want to fly to Florida or Arizona, check out the WBC in Toronto. See some of the best players in the world while cheering for your favorite country.

Once we get closer to the tournament, we'll post a broadcast schedule here at SizemoreFan, as all games will be broadcast on one of the ESPN networks, or the MLB Network. You'll also be able to tune into World Baseball Classic Tonight every night during the tournament on the MLB Network.

As a holiday gift to our readers and site visitors, we'd like to present our 2009 Grady Sizemore/ SizemoreFan.com Calendar. This full color calendar features a plethora of photos for all fans to enjoy.

To print the calendar follow these steps:

1.) Right-Click/Save-As on the thumbnail to the left. Once saved, open the PDF in Acrobat Reader.

2.) Print doublesided (short-edge binding, pg 2 on the back of pg 1, pg 4 on the back of pg 3, etc.) on 11x17 paper.

3.) Fold each page so it matches up with the previously printed pages. The centerfold should be the poster.

4.) If you are able, staple the middle so the calendar pages stay together.

5.) If you have trouble printing, don't have the ink or paper or just want a nice, heavy copy, you can take the PDF on a disc or something to a Kinko's type place and they should be able to print it for you.

You will notice that, before folding, the month pictures DO NOT match up with the calendars below them. They are not supposed to. It was done this way to be made into a foldable calendar.
